These are the rekey steps we use:

1. Remove the doorknob from the door.

2. Remove the lock cylinder from the doorknob.

3. Remove the C-clip holding the key plug in place.

4. Remove the key plug from the cylinder.

5. Dump out the old pins from the key plug.

6. Insert the new pins into the key plug, following the instructions that come with your rekeying kit.

7. Reinsert the key plug into the cylinder.

8. Reattach the C-clip.

9. Reattach the lock cylinder to the doorknob.

10. Reattach the doorknob to the door.

11. Test the lock with your new keys.
